My very first Gibside craft fair and I loved it!

For my very first one it couldn't of gone any better! I sold out in my cards, sold a couple of mounted pieces and got a few commissions!

I will be definitely at the Gibside Craft Fair every month!

PS. In this picture I am 29 weeks pregnant! So I will be taking a break in August!

Embroidery Owl 8" Hoop

Embroidery Owl 8" Hoop, originally uploaded by RosieG Embroidery.

The embroidery is done using a basic sewing machine fitted with a freehand embroidery foot. I sketch my owl, and freehand straight onto the fabric using black thread.

This piece is mounted on a 8"(21cm) embroidery hoop (made in Britain).

Ready to hang.

Each owl embroidery is unique due to the nature of freehand machine.
